Christian Volunteer Movement (CVM) is a not-for-profit Christian missions and community development organization. Our desire is to meet physical, social and spiritual needs in challenging conditions and cultures upholding God's calling to the value and dignity of all human life. It is directed by and accountable to a committee of four board members from across Western Canada.

CVM is committed to long term development of the Gambia establishing a presence through short term volunteer and professional projects. Partnering with local organisations, we desire to work alongside in the Gambian people understanding their needs, developing solutions and seeing them to fruition.
